Capital Bible Seminary

Dr. George M. Harton is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and did post-graduate work at Moody Bible Institute. He later received his Master of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.

For the last twenty years, Dr. Harton has devotedly served at Capital Bible Seminary, as Professor of Practical Theology, and for the last six years as Academic Dean.

His pastoral experience includes:

• Youth Pastor of Northgate Bible Baptist Church, Pittsburgh, PA

• Pastor of Calvary Independent Bible Church, Clearfield, PA

• Pastor of Eastwood Bible Church, Birmingham, AL

• Pastor of Cleburne Bible Church, Cleburne, TX

He is married to Ellen Harton (31 years) and they have been blessed with four children.
